Last year my uncle (work).......in the USA and he and my aunt (decide).........to spnd a few days in New York. one day they (walk).....dpwn to street when a young man suddenly bumped into my uncle. My uncle noticed that his shoulder (drip)......with tomato ketchup. A young girl , who(stand).....beside him , began to wipe his jacket . Lukily,my aunt ,whoo (see).......everythig,shouted : 'John! Watch out! ' The ypung girl quikly dissapeared. Then my uncle realised that he (neaarly/be)......the victim of a clever pair of pickpockets.
